I am a lifestyle photographer, based in Montrose, Colorado. I am from the South, Texas to be exact, but have fallen truly, madly, deeply for the Colorado Mountains. I started my photography journey about 6 years ago. There were days in the beginning where running my own photography  business felt like a dream that I would never be able to grasp. When I moved to Colorado 5 years ago, it was quite the struggle. The photography industry is BOOMING here. So goes the saying "There's a church on every corner.." Well it feels like there is a photographer on every corner here which can make a photographer that is new to the area, without an established client base feel pretty desperate and unmotivated. Today, here I am, writing my very first blog post for my brand new website. Through prayer and persistence I am feeling very thankful for the client base I have here now.
